Missions
"We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
The Great Commission is for everyone -- every follower of Jesus, every member of the Body of Christ is a missionary. The missionaries listed below are not more valuable or significant in the economy of God's kingdom than those who serve in other ways, but we call particular attention to these because they are engaged in a kind of vocational ministry that depends on the support of the Church to make their ministry possible. In following this path of service, they are entrusting themselves to the means of God's grace -- to the Church. That means, we as the family of God are committed to caring for them. We support these folks who are a part of our local and extended New Life family in many ways -- through giving, prayer, helping, and the word of encouragement. If you would like to send any of these folks a short note to encourage them or let them know you are praying for them, select one of the forms below. Let's joyfully and generously support these brothers and sisters.

New Life Presbyterian Church is a mission church. From the city of Ithaca we have a window on the world. People from all the nations of the world gather here to live and learn only to be scattered to the four winds after a few short years. New Life is a local community that sees her mission as equipping Christians for service around the world as well as at home.
